I’ve been home for two days and I am still catching up on sleep. The WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) Annual Convention in Vegas was fabulous. I arrived in Vegas before the crowds to begin my trip with a two day intensive workshop with legendary wedding photographer Bambi Cantrell. Bambi’s energy and passion are contagious and I learned some natural lighting techniques as well as some very flattering way to photograph women.

After a few days with Bambi, I hit the strip with my good friend Cyndi and Nevada love birds – Emil & Rebecca.
We spent a few hours photographing Rebecca & Emil on the strip

and rendezvoused with the lovebirds in the Red Rock Canyon just outside of Vegas for a second photo session.

I also participated in Master Classes with Toronto Wedding Photographer Silvana Frammartino, Australian Landscape photographer Peter Eastway, California based photographer John Mireles, Photojournalist and Pulitzer Prize winner Deanne Fitzmaurice and Toronto wedding photographer Storey Wilkins.
It was an extremely busy week in Vegas. I was in class from 8am to about 7pm each day but I did make some time to to have breakfast with Kate Parker of mykateparkerwedding.com
and to see Cirque du Soleil’s KA which was absolutely amazing and would highly recommend it to anyone!
